With Dubai government's initiative to improve internal efficiencies, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is pleased to announce that they have automated employee and vendor payments with Emirates Bank's online banking platform "smartBUSINESS".

RTA required a secure e-banking channel that was easy to use, implement and integrate with their ERP platform. The solution offered by Emirates Bank included encrypted bulk processing and advising capability to RTA. The solution was implemented with the combined effort of RTA's IT and Finance teams and Emirates Bank Cash Management team.

"smartBUSINESS" is a secure channel used by corporate & institutional clients to process bulk payments online. Customers can initiate financial payments like transfers, salary, utility, e-wallet, local and international payments.

This service also assists customers with the real-time download of bank account statement in a format which can be uploaded into various ERP platforms for automated reconciliation.
